Flinders Estate – Stage 10

The scope of works includes:

• Clearing and grubbing of vegetation in accordance with REF and under environmental supervision.
• Extensive bulk earthworks. The site required ~250,000t of fill to be imported and compacted under Level 1 geotechnical supervision.
• Erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance including sediment basins, swales, wheel wash baths, stabilised access and sediment fence.
• Approximately 300m of pavement construction including stabilisation, primer seal and asphalt.
• Minor concrete works including kerb and gutter and large in-situ stormwater pits.
• Service installation and commissioning including complete water, stormwater, sewer, electrical (LV, HV & transmission services) and communications packages. Includes decommissioning and adjustment of existing services.
• Development and actioning of multiple major design changes throughout the contract period which aided in delivering a successful end product.
• NER certification of works through Allen Price and Scarrats.
