Pascall Group were engaged by Shoalhaven City Council to complete emergency restoration works to reinstate access across the Yarramunmun Creek in Yalwal following severe flooding in April, 2024.

Scope

The scope of works included:

  • Removal of debris caused by landslide/significant erosion on banks of approach. Debris blocking bridge.
  • Reinstate temporary access to residents.
  • Reconstruct road pavement from suitable subgrade material including boulders, gabion rock, graded rock and heavily bound base course.
  • Minor modifications to guardrail, signage, compound area and guideposts.
  • Consultation with the community and authorities (Fisheries, Council etc) throughout works.
